P.S. Lior is a fellow ADVrider and has done several trail side repairs on our rides. He’s a great rider and a good guy.
“If anyone is looking for a good honest BMW mechanic, I cannot reccomend Lior enouph. He went above and beyond all of my expecations while working on my F800S. He picked up my motorcycle in grid lock traffic on his own time and dollar and performed all the work I needed and then some. He did a complete dianosos looking for any needed updates or problems and gave me direct honest feedback on any quesitons I had. I’d much rather support an independent guy like Lior who works out of his garage and takes the time to do things right for a fraction of the cost v.s. going to a franchised BMW dealership and literally getting screwed every time. I’m only going through Lior from here on out. On top of that, he has a super friendly dog you get to hang out with while he polishes off your motorcycle. – Scott Hartwick
“Lior, thank you for a great service. Now I realize that taking my bike to a BMW dealer was a waste of time and money. Thank you again.” -Miki Bizaoui
“I brought my bike to Lior and he not only fixed my problem, but also returned my bike looking and feeling better than I left it and for a very reasonable price! I wouldn’t bring my bike to anyone else!” -Ryan Marone
“Lior is a good technician and a great rider!” -Joe MacAvee
“Lior just worked on my R1150GS last night. Started “afterhours” because I could not get to his place until 5:30 due to a lot of traffic. His work was meticulous and methodical. He isn’t like other mechanics I’ve met that have to consult books, etc. He started working and it was clear he knew exactly what he was doing. He was also very anal about getting everything just right. He spent a lot of time on the valves getting them *just right* as if it were his own bike. He didn’t speed through everything because it was his evening either.
I feel very confident after meeting him and watching him do the service. I’d recommend him to anyone wanting their bike serviced by a professional.
“I recently purchased a 1980 BMW R65 that had sat for many years. Lior came to my house to pick it up and accurately diagnosed the several problems the bike had. He was careful to get my consent to repair the problems and, where appropriate, offered alternative approaches. He then fixed the problems and dropped off the bike at my home. I have ridden the bike for the past several weekends and it runs great. Lior’s rates were very reasonable and he clearly knew what he was doing with the old air head bike. Overall Lior’s service was professional and friendly. I recommend his services strongly.”
“How convenient not have to deal with driving the bike to a repair shop and hoping it might be done in the next day or two… I highly recommend MotoRide for ANY bike maintenance and repair job you need.”
“Thanks for the best service on my 1150 GSA. The bike is running better than ever 🙂
Bike runs like a dream. Just got back, took Ortega back, saw some ocean, needed that.
“Lior: Thanks a ton for the 12,000 mile service you performed on my 1200GS last week. The time you spent educating me, and the meticulousness of your work was a welcome departure from the standard service usually received from dealerships or even other general repair shops. Being that I am new to BMWs, you were a wealth of knowledge for me.
I just wanted to say thank you for taking the extra time and attention on servicing my bike. Seven days and 3100 miles its performance was 100% perfect smooth no problems and the extra attention to the throttle cable made my bike feel like new.
Keep up the excellent work and customer service.
“Lior Elbaz is a skilled artisan motorcycle engineer. Lior, has recovered my vintage BMW from the BONEYARD, hire him to execute the same for you!
You will have NO regrets!!!
“I have had the pleasure of knowing Lior for over a year and a half. He is definitely the master of all things BMW. He keeps my 98 K1200RS dialed in so well but I haven’t had to see him for over a year and a half. His prices are fair and reasonable compared to what you would be charged at a dealership. Most importantly, he is a man of great character. He treats your bike as if it were his own and you will leave his shop confident in the knowledge that your ride is in tiptop shape for your next long trip. Thanks, Lior!”
